How to attach coupons to a checkout URL
This will guide you through the process of attaching existing coupons to a checkout URL.
Coupons can be used by users, either by default (meaning you have attached a coupon on a chatroom, thus the discount is already applied on the chatroom’s billing plan) or by a checkout URL (meaning that only users buying access to your premium chatroom through the checkout URL can use the coupon).
In this “How To” video, we will cover the second case, that is attaching the coupon to a checkout URL.
You may use the checkout URL to create a Buy Now button on your website (or on an affiliate’s website). A real case scenario would be the following: An affiliate brings traffic to your echofin team. You want to offer a discount to users coming from that affiliate. Attach the coupon to a checkout URL and give this URL to the affiliate. The affiliate will then create a “Buy now” button on their website, were the call-to-action would send users to the checkout URL.
Every users that buys access to your premium chatroom through this URL, would benefit from the discount.
